A river runs through it

This is the Red River, taken just outside of the town in northern New Mexico that bears the same name.  It is a nice little river, and a nice little town, and I am always happy to pay it a visit.  As it approached sundown one day, we headed out so I could chase photo opportunities.  We stopped nearby the little campground that you can see in the distance, and headed to the river.  I took this shot while standing on a little wooden footbridge that spans the river.  It is so nice to be out in the woods because the only sounds you hear are those of nature - bugs, birds, and the calming sounds of the river running by.
