The fountain at The Plaza Hotel

This beautiful fountain sits just outside the entrance to The Plaza Hotel in NYC, just south of Central Park.  It is a beautiful work and is known as the Pulitzer Fountain since it was funded by the will of newspaper publisher Joseph Pulitzer.  The statue atop the fountain represents Pomona, Roman Goddess of Orchards.  I spent some time walking around Central Park and arrived at this location at dusk.  It was nice to find the lights coming on in the fountain, though some of them appear to be burned out!
