The Blanton Museum of Art

As you may know from my previous posts, I am a fan of geometry, architecture, and repetitive patterns.  I had been planning to get some shots of The Blanton Museum of Art at The University of Texas at Austin, but had forgotten about the entryway until I arrived one evening.  There was a private party of some sort going on, so you can see some ghosting in the distance of folks that were departing.  The Blanton is an excellent museum and has a large collection of European paintings, as well as a private collection of American paintings donated by novelist James Michener and his wife.
