Beacon of hope

While walking around in downtown Austin, near our wonderful Capitol building, I came across this old church and just liked the aged and worn look of the top that you see here.  This was a single exposure, and I ran it through HDR Efex Pro and made some tweaks to it.  I am loving HDR Efex Pro by the way - awesome!  Most people try to avoid having a halo creep up on their image during the HDR process, including me, but this was so fitting (it is a church, after all!) that I just thought it fit the shot perfectly.  I thought it helped isolate the subject and it appeared to me like some beacon of hope in a storm.  Sort of reminded me of Monty Python’s Holy Grail for a minute (one of the greatest movies ever BTW)!
