Old fire alarm

I find stuff like this interesting, so I take its picture.  Walking around in San Francisco, I kept seeing these old fire alarms on posts in the city.  I assume they are disabled, or else the SFFD is getting a lot of prank calls since the glass is long since gone.  Plus, these days I assume folks would use a cell phone.  Same reason I guess we no longer have pay phones anywhere, don't you think?  Anyways, I have a massive backlog of shots like this of completely random stuff and have decided I might as well post them.  Let me know your thoughts, if you are so inclined.  For the record though, I still plan to take "real" photos.  Thanks for looking!
