The guardian of Pier 39

Just a quick snap I took on one of my trips out to San Francisco.  I was walking around Fisherman's Wharf and off to the side of it is Pier 39, where all the sea lions bask in the sun.  I saw this seagull sitting on the sign, and it just looked to me like he was watching over all the sea lions...
