Autumn's golden glow

Fall is by far my favorite time of year.  Though here in central Texas we do not get all the color and festive beauty that other areas experience (we do get some), you can still detect a change of the seasons.  Our incredible heat subsides, the humidity disappears, and the shifting sunlight seems to have a glow about it.  Instead of seeming to hammer us from above all day long, the sun is softer, lighter and I dare say friendlier.  In other words, it's perfect.
