Dam + dock

This was shot off the end of the dock at Abel's on the Lake in Austin, when I was there shooting some photos for them to use in their restaurant.  It's a great place to hang out by the lake in Austin, and as you can see the view is great too!  This is looking down river towards Tom Miller Dam, after which the water runs on into downtown Austin in a section of the river known as Town Lake (well, actually these days it is known as Lady Bird Lake but I am old school in that regard).  Technically, all this water is the Colorado River, but we dam it up in various spots and make some nice lakes for everyone to enjoy.  Anyways, if you get to Austin be sure and swing by Abel's on the Lake!
