Flight over Jefferson

I was walking around in Washington, DC (with Nikon firmly in hand, of course!) and started making my way over to the Jefferson Memorial.  I never actually made it there.  It was getting late in the day, and in front of the Memorial is this fabulous lake (which you have to walk all the way around), and there was this gorgeous sunset happening....to say I became distracted by the beauty in front of me would be an understatement.  It was really fabulous.  Plus, I still had a long way to go, and I was tired.  So I opted to watch the sunset unfurl in front of me - and well, I took a few pictures too.  :)
