Red dawn at Radnor Lake - and Hello, 2012!

Happy New Year 2012!

Be always at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let each new year find you a better man.  ~Benjamin Franklin

I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year's celebration.  It's always fun to roll into a new year.  Even though it's just a calendar change, it does feel like an opportunity to turn over a new leaf and improve at some aspect of life.  It's a beginning of sorts, and a chance to do things differently.  What are you going to do different in 2012?  I have lots of plans for my photography - some are solid, some are ideas, and some things I haven't thought of yet!

Red Dawn at Radnor Lake

And while I am on that subject, and since this is the dawn of a new year, it seems fitting to include a sunrise shot as my first post of 2012.  Plus, I have a zillion shots from this incredible sunrise, and I will never get through them all unless I start early!  I caught this recently while in Nashville, TN while shooting there with Malcolm MacGregor. Radnor Lake is very peaceful and serene (especially in the morning) and it's just a short drive from the downtown area, so I intend to visit again someday!

Here's the 2012 New Years card we are sending out to family and friends real soon.  Sorry if I ruined a surprise there folks!  Just thought I would share with my readers, and wish everyone out there a wonderful 2012!

Happy New Year 2012 from my family to yours!
