Sunrise in the Texas hill country

Sunrise is such a great time to shoot, the only issue being that you have to get up early to shoot it.  I find though that I am always rewarded for my early rising, and am thankful for the quiet morning time, just me and the ritual clicking of my Nikon while it hammers out some brackets. 

Speaking of being thankful, I am thankful that this was a beautiful morning, as it was on Thanksgiving morning when I got up early and went out to shoot.  We were up in the Texas hill country and before we needed to start the days’ preparations, I was able to squeeze in a little camera time.  That’s always something to be thankful for.  Well that, and a gorgeous sunrise to go with it.  :)
