Rosenborg Castle

This beautiful castle sits at the heart of Copenhagen, Denmark.  I didn't look at pictures of it before I went, but had read about it and made sure to pinpoint it on my town map when I got there.  I am usually interested in anything that has the word "castle" in the title.  :)  

It was an easy walk from my hotel, so I hopped over there one day to check it out - not knowing what to expect.  Imagine my surprise when I found this incredible and beautiful castle, surrounded by water - it's like walking into a fairy tale, but without the evil witch or poison apples!
