Mind the Gap

Yep, I'm back at a train station - this time, London Paddington!

As you have read here before - and will undoubtedly read here again, assuming you return! - I love train stations, and especially those that I encounter in my travels to Europe.  I just absolutely love these things!  It's irrational, and I am not sure where it comes from, but it is there, and I am embracing it.

When I fly into London, I fly into London Heathrow airport, and then take the Heathrow Express train straight into the city, which is a quick 20 minute journey.  It deposits me here in Paddington Station, which as you can see is a pretty impressive place.  I always stop and take a photo or two.  It's just awesome looking.

On my last trip there, I was in a bit of a hurry upon my arrival, so I didn't get a chance to shoot here until the day of my departure.  I arrived early, on purpose, so I could wander a bit here in London Paddington and take some shots.

While I was meandering towards my train, I saw the "Mind the Gap" painted there on the platform, and just had to include it in my shot.  You hear those words all the time on the London Underground, and it's just one of those things that I love about London.  I hope you enjoy the pics, and thanks for clicking by today!
