Let’s Talk About Curiosity

We were successful because we were curious guys.
– Paul McCartney

I’ve always believed curiosity is the secret ingredient to learning—anything. Think about it: if you’re curious, you’ll dive in, spend the time, and figure it out. If you’re not, you won’t. To me, it’s really that simple.

Photo editing is a perfect example. People ask me how I got good enough with these tools to teach them. The truth? I was curious. I genuinely love this stuff and think about it all the time. (Okay, maybe “borderline obsessed” is more accurate—LOL.)

But what if photo editing isn’t your great passion? Totally fine. There’s a shortcut: presets. They can give your edits a huge jumpstart, and then you can tweak them to fit your image. It’s fast, it’s fun, and it works. (Plus you’ll learn along the way.)

That’s the beauty of editing—there’s no single “right” way. You can fine-tune every slider like a mad scientist, or you can drop in a preset and be 75% done in seconds. Either way, it’s your vision, your process, and you control the results.
