Find Your Own Path

Back when I was new to photography, I was obsessed with HDR. The process felt overwhelming—so many steps, so much software. I followed tutorials from different photographers, and what surprised me was how differently each of them worked. That’s when it hit me: there isn’t one “right way.” The only right way is the one that works for you.

That realization shaped how I approach editing:

  • Make the work your own

  • Don’t assume what works for others will work for you

  • Creativity matters more than rules

I still try to follow that mindset. Keep learning, keep experimenting, and above all—make images that feel like yours. The next time you sit down to edit, give yourself permission to try something different. You might discover a whole new way forward.
