I’m Retiring My Luminar Courses - Here’s Why
Over the last few years, I've created three different Luminar training courses. They've been very well received, and the feedback you've shared with me has been incredibly valuable and inspiring. I'm so glad these courses have helped you become a better, more confident Luminar editor.
Today I'm letting you know that I'm retiring all three courses on September 15, 2026. After that, they will no longer be available for purchase.
Luminar has changed considerably since I first started creating these courses in early 2023. Rather than continually revising older courses to keep pace with those changes, I've decided to retire them and focus my time on creating new, current educational content.
Perhaps more importantly, my own editing approach, tool usage, and overall workflow have evolved and matured during that time. I want my instructional content to reflect the way I work today, so that I can continue to help you get the most out of Luminar.
The knowledge carries forward
The techniques and concepts taught in these courses remain valuable and relevant.
The skills and knowledge learned are transferable to future versions of Luminar and even to other editing apps.
While the interface and some of the tools you see in the courses may look different from today's version of Luminar, there is still a lot of useful education packed into these courses.
The software may change, but the knowledge carries forward.

What’s next
Luminar continues to evolve and grow its capabilities, and I continue to use it every day. I still absolutely love the platform and remain very excited about where it is going.
I'll continue creating videos for YouTube, writing newsletters and blog posts, creating new digital products for my store, and sharing practical editing advice for Luminar users.
I will continue to help you get the most out of this powerful platform. I'm simply making room for what's next.
Retiring these courses is bittersweet, but I'm very excited about where my photography and instruction is headed next.
