I recently spent a couple of days in San Antonio, Texas and captured quite a few nice photos while I was there.  Today's post is a group of 4 that I am rather fond of, all from downtown.  It covers El Mercado and some spots along The Riverwalk - click on it and enjoy!

Today I share a few photos of the Austin skyline, taken from Lou Neff Point.  It's a great spot to view the skyline, although not nearly as popular as some other spots, which means you might even have it to yourself!

South Congress Avenue in downtown Austin is quite a fun place for photography.  While I have often shot this area at sunrise, I recently changed things up a bit and shot in the evening instead.  Here's a few pics to give you a taste of it!  I hope you like neon!

I've been getting in a LOT of shots of Austin lately, for a couple of reasons.  Today I share some of my most recent Austin pics and hint at what I am working on!

This is Avenue B Grocery, which is a really cool old grocery store tucked away on a quiet street in Austin.  It's like walking back into the 1950's or something.  Here are 5 pics I caught at sunrise one morning last Fall.

I've got waterfalls for you today!  As you have probably heard on the news (even nationally), Austin has been hit with a serious amount of rain and flooding lately.  While there have been tragic events due to the flooding, the silver lining is that we are getting our lakes filled back up and our creeks have water in them - both of which are badly needed.  Today I share a collection of pics from a recent outing here in Austin, when I went out to shoot some waterfalls!

I love signs and graffiti - and sunset, 'natch! - and caught all 3 on a recent outing here in Austin.  It's great to travel and shoot in various spots around the world, but it's also great to shoot interesting things near home.  It's easier to get there, too LOL!

Dallas is a big city - no surprise there - and as such, I always overlooked it as a photo destination.  But I came across a bunch of old Dallas photos in my library recently, and it gave me a new appreciation for the Big D as a photo destination.  There's actually a lot to shoot there!  So click on in and have a look - there are 17 photos that prove my point!

How about some pictures of old automotive stuff?  Sound cool?  It is!  It's awesome, in fact.  This is a tiny little spot in a tiny little Texas town, but it packs a serious punch.  Dive in and see all 12 pics, and prepare to step back in time with me!

Sometimes you find yourself in absolutely the wrong place when the sunset decides to get all awesome.  It's a real drag, but hey what can you do about it?  Well, I'll tell you what I do.  I shoot like crazy.  What if it's the best sunset you've seen in ages?  You can't just pack it up and go home.  Take the shot - you never regret it!
