Grunging it up on East 6th Street
Today I share some shots from a recent photowalk along East 6th Street, in downtown Austin. Most folks visiting here go to West 6th Street, but this section of it is a little more grungy, and full of graffiti and a lot of character. Take a quick tour with me and enjoy! How Aurora HDR Pro got me interested in textures
Today I share a quick how-to on applying a texture to a photo in Aurora HDR Pro. It's super easy and quick and a great way to take an other discarded shot and turn it into a work of art. I show you several examples and there's a YouTube video, too!

Twilight in Stavanger
Stavanger, Norway is a quaint but beautiful little town. I visited last Fall and today's photos were captured during a stunning blue hour there one evening. I wandered the streets and basically had it to myself. I wondered where everyone was, but wasn't complaining. Enjoy the pics!

My highly redundant yet simple backup strategy

The first mission in Texas

Split toning in Lightroom
