A stroll along the Champs Elysees
There is a LOT to see on the Champs Elysees in Paris. It's a big, crowded street that famous for shopping, but in my opinion you can also make some great photographs in places like that - you just have to look a little harder! Here are 14 photos as proof!
The Eiffel Tower from Trocadero
There is just so much awesomeness in Paris - starting with that iconic symbol of the city, the Eiffel Tower. On my last trip there, I shot it a LOT, starting with today's photos which are from The Trocadero. It's across the River Seine from the Eiffel Tower and as you can clearly see, offers up a pretty incredible view! Have a look and enjoy!
A primal morning in Copenhagen
On a recent morning in lovely Copenhagen, I headed out with just one lens (my 15mm f1.7 prime) and just one purpose - to capture some beautiful photos of this city that I just love to visit. Morning at Nyhavn
On my recent trip to Copenhagen, I got up early one morning to head over to Nyhavn, their historic harbor front entertainment area. It's quite beautiful, and I fired a lot of photos. An awesome sunset in Copenhagen
On my recent trip to Copenhagen, I had hopes for good shooting, but the weather forecast did not look promising. Couple that with a missed connection in London, and I was sure that my first day there was going to be a bust. But sometimes Mother Nature (and travel complications) work out for the best! I seriously enjoy going to London and taking photos - it's one of my favorite cities, and I find it rather beautiful. In fact, when I am there, I find it hard to sleep because I want to be out shooting so much! Have you ever been to Berlin? It's a lovely city, though I have only been there for about 6 hours, as I describe in today's post. But what a great 6 hours it was! One of the highlights was hanging out here at Checkpoint Charlie - so much history, and so interesting! Have a look!

Whiskey, bridges, a church and a jail - not your normal collection of shots! Today's post doesn't really follow a "theme" like many of mine do. This is rather just a group of shots from some of my trips to Dublin that I happened to have ready, but which don't necessarily all go together. Dining in the Musee d'Orsay (and musing about lovely Paris)
Paris is a beautiful city - that's basically an undisputed fact. But on my recent visit there, I found beauty in lots of unexpected places - including inside a cafe, inside the Musee d'Orsay museum. It's always hard to get up early for anything - even if it's something you love, like shooting sunrise. But then again, you can't shoot sunrise any other time of day except morning, so an early rise is sort of a requirement. So I did just that when I was in Montpellier, France a while back - and it was well worth it! And it was an amazing sunrise!

Do you ever find yourself in the wrong spot when the light gets awesome? Yeah, me too. So I do what any sane person would do - RUN and find a good spot! Luckily, I didn't get hit by any of the bewildered Parisian drivers!
