I spent a recent evening firing away over in East Austin, and came home with some images that I really like.  Today I share this one showing some cars streaking by me during blue hour.

Cadillac Ranch, which sits along Route 66 in Amarillo, TX has been on my list to shoot for many years.  It finally happened, and the sunset was just stunning!

Just a quick shot of a cool store in Austin - Room Service Vintage.  I have driven past it for years and always wanted to shoot it.  So, I finally did it and am glad that I did.

Sometimes you wander into buildings and find amazing things - and then you have to return with the camera.  Don't you love happy accidents?

About an hour away from Austin, in a tiny little Texas town, there's this beauty.  It's a painted church dating from the mid 1800's, and it's a real gem.  Step inside and have a look.

I had a friend in town last week, and we headed out to shoot this hidden gem in west Austin.  It's hard to beat a beautiful waterfall, isn't it?

Wherein I photograph a REALLY old car that is buried under years of accumulated gravel and dirt, and make up stories about how it got there.  Maybe it was a mob hit.  In Austin?  Could be, folks!

Boy was this a great sunset - and I had my daughter out shooting too, which made it doubly fun!  Click on in, see all 4 shots, and hear me yap a little about some things I've been doing (and a hint about future plans).  ;-)

The Pearly Brewery in San Antonio is quite a spot.  It's been redeveloped and now includes all sorts of shops, restaurants and even a farmer's market.  Oh yeah, and it's beautiful, especially when you get up early and capture it before dawn!

Springtime in central Texas usually means rain, and rain means waterfalls.  We have both RIGHT NOW, and I am out with the camera chasing after them.  I captured these shots here in Austin just last week.  It felt to me like I was in some other state - maybe Oregon - with excellent streams and waterfalls, and nice comfortable temperatures.  So awesome!

The Riverwalk in downtown San Antonio is a beautiful part of a beautiful city.  I recently spent some time there and got up early to capture it at sunrise.  It was quiet, still, and empty - perfect for photography.  Here's the shots I captured that morning!

I love shooting the skyline in any city that I visit.  It's just something I love.  Today I share a pair of skyline photos from right here in Austin.  Sometimes you can capture amazing views right in your backyard!

Today I share some shots from a recent photowalk along East 6th Street, in downtown Austin.  Most folks visiting here go to West 6th Street, but this section of it is a little more grungy, and full of graffiti and a lot of character.  Take a quick tour with me and enjoy!  It's an interesting part of town!

Mission Espada is the oldest Mission in Texas, and in my opinion, the most beautiful one in San Antonio.  I made a visit there recently and returned with some great shots of this historic structure.  Have a look and let me know your thoughts!
