Today I share 3 shots from Ecola State Park, just outside of Cannon Beach, OR.  It's a rugged but beautiful stretch of coastline - and something that everyone should see.

South Congress Avenue in downtown Austin is quite a fun place to shoot, and arriving at sunrise means you get it all to yourself!  Of course, you can't order a cupcake then, so that's no good.  But the photo-taking...yep, that's pretty good.

I love HDR photography, but it's changing - a lot.  And in my opinion, that's a good thing.  There are a million ways to skin a cat, as the saying goes, and that is very true with HDR as well.  Today I ramble a bit about HDR photography and share some resources to help you on your own journey.

Ah, New York City - what an impressive skyline!  Today's post is a couple of photos shot from Brooklyn, while staring out at the most-photographed skyline in the world.  Good times!

Luck comes in pretty handy sometimes, especially since we can't control the weather!  I showed up here one morning just as the light got perfect - I love it when my timing is good!

Apple is going to drop Aperture, which I use every day.  What am I going to do about it?  Well, that's a good question.  I'm not sure I have an answer - yet.  But here's what I am thinking about it right now.
