Facebook has changed a lot, and not for the better.  It's harder and harder to drive traffic to the blog...so here is what I am doing about that!

This is one of my favorite spots in Nashville - The Parthenon.  On my last trip there, I ran into an online friend there - travel sure makes this a small world at times!

For my trip to NYC, I had a list a mile long of things I wanted to shoot, and the Brooklyn Bridge was very near the top of that list.  While I didn't make it to all of them, I made sure I got here, and it was worth it!

Sometimes it pays to drive 5 minutes from home, instead of flying halfway around the world.  You can find great stuff to shoot close to home, too!

Cupid's Span is an interesting (and large!) sculpture along the Embarcadero in San Francisco, CA - well worth a visit to this part of a fabulous city!

I love San Francisco and find it to be a very beautiful town.  In the blue hour light after a good, solid rain...well, it's beyond beautiful - it's downright amazing!

I just don't get tired of shooting all the beautiful churches that I come across in Europe.  I found this one in Vienna, Austria by accident - sometimes I get lucky!  I'll take it!

Today's post is about The Mean-Eyed Cat Bar here in Austin, TX.  It's a pretty awesome looking place, if I do say so myself!  And I am glad to finally get this one marked off my list of places to shoot here!

You ever see pics of a place, and hope that someday you can get there and shoot it?  Yeah, me too - all the time in fact.  In this case, it actually happened.  I finally made it to the Santa Monica Pier!

I've been blogging here for 5 years - time flies!  I was thinking about how far I have come, and thought I would share what I have learned on this creative journey of mine.  

Austin is a great town, and we like our weirdness...hence the town motto, "Keep Austin Weird".  Here's a couple of proof points for ya!
